‘Pakapalan Ng Mukha’ Javee Mocon roots for Andrei Caracut in PBA Draft
Javee Mocon sure knows that his childhood buddy, Andrei Caracut, will make it to the PBA now that the latter has applied for the upcoming rookie draft.
The two former San Beda Red Cubs teammates have been spotted working out in their hometown in Lucban, Quezon, and so far Mocon has nothing but praises for the former La Salle team captain.
“Seeing it up close, talagang you’ll know na dedicated siya, and will do everything he can to really showcase his talent in the PBA,” said the Rain or Shine gunner on Spin Life.
“Every day siya nagwo-workout, lifting wieghts to skills work, may road work pa nga yan eh. [Sa] Lucban, sobrang daming uphill diyan.”
Being in the PBA himself as a rising star, Mocon gave a friendly advice to Caracut before entering in the big league.
“Sabi ko sa kanya, pakapalan ng mukha talaga sa PBA. If dyan ka lang sa gilid, go with the flow, nahihiya ka, walang mangyayari sa’yo,” he said.
However, Mocon is confident that his friend will become a highly-touted prospect since he could attest that Caracut is a born-winner.
“He knows the game really well. Actually, ako pa nga ata maraming natututunan sa kanya eh. He’s a good all-round player and I’m really confident, mataas siya sa draft,” he shared.
