San Sebastian sharpshooter RK Ilagan declares for PBA Draft

RK Ilagan becomes the latest talented prospect to declare himself for the upcoming 2021 PBA Draft.

The 23-year old decided to forego his final playing year with the San Sebastian Golden Stags on Thursday, as his parents became a huge factor on his said decision.

“Gusto ko na rin makatulong sa magulang ko kaya nagpasya na ko na pumasok sa draft,” Ilagan said on Tiebreaker Times. “Yung opportunity po kasi nandiyan na e.”

The sharpshooting guard had a spectacular season in NCAA Season 95, Season 95, Ilagan went supernova, averaging 15.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists while also leading the Stags together with former MVP Allyn Bulanadi to a fourth-place finish.

“Nagpapasalamat ako sa Baste dahil binigay nila yung tiwala nila sa akin mula high school hanggang college. Kung makaabot ako sa PBA, dala ko ang bawat aral na natutunan ko sa Baste,” Ilagan said.
