Dahil Sa Barbero! 76ers Embiid, Simmons Likely Ineligible For NBA All-Star

Philadelphia 76ers stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons are likely out during the 2021 NBA All-Star Games on Sunday night (Monday in the Philippines) in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to Shams Charania, both Embiid and Simmons have closed contact to a barber who later tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Charania added that the exposure occurred with Embiid and Simmons‘ personal barber who had a positive test result and is awaiting another test.
Both Embiid and Simmons traveled by themselves on private planes, and had no exposure to other players or people down in Atlanta bubble.
“This quarantine process was applied per NBA’s normal strict protocols. Embiid and Simmons have not been in contact with other people in Atlanta due to league’s quarantine,” Charania said.
Embiid is set to play for Team Durant, while Simmons was part of Team Lebron.
