Harden, Green Powers Brooklyn Past Portland

Brooklyn Nets leaned on a strong fourth quarter run to take down Portland Trail Blazers, 116-112, in the 2020-2021 NBA Season on Tuesday night (Wednesday in the Philippines) at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
James Harden top-scored with 25 points to go along with 17 assists and seven rebounds, while Jeff Green added 20 markers as the Nets stayed at second in Eastern Conference with 30-14 slate.
Joe Harris drained three triples and finished with 17 points, as Nicholas Claxton and Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot contributed 16 and 11 for the Nets, which were without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Landry Shamet.
Down for most part of the game, the Nets tasted the lead late in the third period at 92-91 on a basket by Claxton before widening it to 110-103 on shots by Luwawu-Cabarrot, Tyler Johnson and Blake Griffin.
The Trail Blazers countered with a run to come to within 112-114 with seven seconds left before Green sealed the victory for the Nets with two free throws with four ticks remaining.
Damian Lillard finished with 22 points and nine assists, Enes Kanter had double-double 19 points and 19 rebounds while CJ McCollum and Carmelo Anthony had 16 and 15 for the Trail Blazers (25-18).
