LOOK: Hidilyn Diaz shares powerful message this Women’s Month

“We can wear whatever we want to wear.”

That was the message that Filipina olympic silver in weightlifting Hidilyn Diaz wants to share to fellow women this International Women’s Month.

Diaz uploaded a photo of her sleeveless dress on Instagram, while also sharing how she embraces her own self.

Growing up I’m insecure with my body, with my muscle, and with my sports but when I learned to love my sports and love myself, I appreciated my muscles that I work hard my flaws and imperfections,” Diaz wrote.

Most of us have insecurities. Accepting who we are and loving who we are is the way to appreciate ourselves.
