Walang Pakielamanan’ Tim Cone strays away from Scottie Thompson’s personal life

Barangay Ginebra head coach Tim Cone made it clear that Scottie Thompson’s issue isn’t exactly a distraction to the team.

The Ginebra star guard was present in team’s training session in Batangas in preparation for the upcoming 46th PBA season amid the online storm from his personal life.

“His personal life is his personal life. That’s something we don’t get involved with unless the player comes to us, and that rarely, rarely happens,” said Cone.

Thompson became the talk of the town on social media when reports came out that he tied the knot with Jinky Serrano, few days after he admitted that he and ex-fiance Pau Fajardo ended their six-year relationship.

This issue caused mixed to negative reactions from the fans, even saying that the 27-year old should be traded.

However, Cone assured that the Ginebra organization has Thompson’s support, no matter what.

“One thing for sure, the management, the coaching staff and his teammates all love Scottie. He’s the perfect teammate,” Cone said.
