Gallinari Fires 10 3s, Atlanta Wallops Boston
Danilo Gallinari was on fire as Atlanta Hawks cruised to a 127-112 victory over Boston Celtics in the 2020-2021 NBA season on Wednesday at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Gallinari, who was signed up by the Hawks from free agency during the offseason, drained 10 three-point conversions to finish with 38 points
Trae Young added 33 markers to go along with seven assists and John Collins had double-double 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawks, which hiked its record to 14-18.
Jaylen Brown led the way with 17 points, while Jeff Teague added 14 markers as the Celtics suffered its third consecutive defeat to drop to 15-17 slate.
Meanwhile, Cleveland Cavaliers (12-21) manhandled Houston Rockets (11-19), 112-96. Jarrett Allen continued his double-double streak for the Cavs with 26 points and 18 rebounds.
Also, Luguentz Dort drained a game-winning triple at the buzzer as the Oklahoma City Thunder (13-19) escaped with a 102-99 victory over San Antonio Spurs (16-12).
