Kiefer Ravena to TNT, Rosario to NLEX?

After making a coaching change, TNT Tropang Giga will now upgrade its backcourt as they will reportedly acquire Kiefer Ravena from NLEX Road Warriors for Jeth Troy Rosario.

Sports insider Snow Badua posted on his Facebook page on Saturday evening, the supposed swap between the sister teams, which he said NLEX head coach Yeng Guiao has a hand.

“Kuliglig told me TROY ROSARIO is on his way to NLEX for KIEFER RAVENA. TNT’s decision to sign DAVE MARCELO signals the start of preparations for this trade,” Badua wrote.

“Coach YENG GUIAO has a hand on this trade, says my kuliglig. So nothing to worry about. Besides YENG can reignite the fire in TROY ROSARIO,” he added.

With Kiefer’s supposed transfer to the Tropang Giga, he will be playing in the same team where his father Ferdinand “Bong” Ravena serve as an assistant coach to returning TNT mentor Vincent “Chot” Reyes.

Rosario, on the other hand, could be an added boost to the Road Warriors’ frontline, which is led by aging JR Quinahan, Asi Taulava and youngsters Michael Miranda and Raul Soyud.

But since TNT and NLEX were sister teams, they will need the assistance of another team outside the MVP umbrella to execute the trade.
