‘No Comment’ James Laput stays mum on June Mar Fajardo question

PBA rookie aspirant James Laput was asked if he could defend June Mar Fajardo with a championship at stake.

In an exclusive interview with Abante News Online’s “Sportalakan”, Laput was asked if he could stop the San Miguel star with his team leading by three in a championship match.

This time, however, the 6-foot-10 center learned a lesson when answering a June Mar-related questions.

“I can challenge him really damn well… that is such a hard situation I’m gonna say no comment on that one,” Laput said.

“The last time I’ve commented on this stuff, it blew up in flames,” he added.

The former La Salle player was blasted when he said in an article that he doesn’t want to get drafted in San Miguel because he wants to face Fajardo.
