PBA veteran Billy Mamaril is already preparing his future after basketball.

“I don’t think he’s going to play anymore kasi nagnu-nursing na yan e,” Abanilla said on SPIN.ph. “Towards the end of his nursing study na rin siya.”

Mamaril has yet to officially announce his retirement, although he has already enjoyed an 18-year career as a solid big man in PBA.

“Wala naman siyang sinasabi na officially retired siya. Kasi baka mamaya sabihin ko nag-retire siya, tapos mamaya maglaro siya sa iba,” Abanilla explained.

The son of PBA legend Romulo Mamaril has played in different teams namely San Miguel, Purefoods, Shell, Coca-Cola, Barangay Ginebra, Air21, and NorthPort.
