Eastern Conference leader Philadelphia 76ers continued its slump after being beaten by Milwaukee Bucks, 124-117, in the 2020-2021 NBA Season on Thursday at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Behind the trio of Giannis Antetokoumpo, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis, the Bucks jumped to an early double-digit advantage in the opening half.
The 76ers attempted to claw its way back in the second half but the Bucks managed to hang on to the advantage to remain at third place in the East with 36-22.
Antetokounmpo finished the match with double-double 27 points and 16 rebounds, while Middleton and Portis added 24 and 23 markers, respectively, for the Bucks.
Joel Embiid tallied 24 points as the 76ers suffered its third straight loss for an Eastern Conference-leadint 39-20 slate, tying Brooklyn Nets.
New Orleans Pelicans (27-33), on the other hand, cruised to a 135-100 rout of Orlando Magic (18-42). Brandon Ingram top-scored with 29 points for the P17elicans.
