2011 was a special year for Filipino basketball fans, as it was that year that the NBA stars stepped foot in Manila and played against PBA All Stars and Gilas Pilipinas.
Former Alab Pilipinas head coach Jimmy Alapag, who was a member of 2011 Gilas Pilipinas, was one of the lucky players who got the chance to play with select NBA superstars namely Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, James Harden, Kevin Durant, and the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
The former TNT star took on Instagram to upload some snaps from the unforgettable two-day exhibition game.
“An incredible experience to be on the court and compete against @easymoneysniper@cp3 @jharden13 @dereklfisher@javalemcgee @rekehavoc1 @drose and the Mamba @kobebryant,” Alapag said.
