May Ibubuga Pa! Sol Mercado confident he still has value to any PBA teams

Sol Mercado is confident that he could still go for another run in the upcoming PBA 46th season.

The 36-year old, who was last seen in action with NorthPort in 2019, said that he has yet to receive any offer but he is willing to play for any teams.

“I haven’t had any offers up to date but I would definitely take the opportunity when it comes,” Mercado said on Spin.ph.

Mercado was traded to Phoenix in 2020, but he was left unsigned. He also did not play in last year’s 2020 Philippine Cup inside the bubble in Clark, Pampanga.

Regardless,bthe three-time PBA champion said that he could still hang with the younger generations and provide a positive impact to any PBA teams.

“I know I still have a lot left to offer to the game and the younger generation,” he said.
