Arwind Santos, Jeff Chan reunites at NorthPort after 17 years

Arwind Santos and Jeffrei Chan are teammates again after 17 years.

The two former Far Eastern University Tamaraws stars are set to reunite at NorthPort Batang Pier following the completion of Chan’s trade from Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings on Tuesday.

Chan along with Kent Salado were shipped by the Gin Kings to the Batang Pier in exchange for former no.2 overall pick Jamie Malonzo.

Santos, on the other hand, arrived at the Batang Pier last season from San Miguel Beermen in a trade for Vic Manuel.

Santos and Chan were both standouts of the Tamaraws team that captured three straight UAAP men’s basketball championships from 2003 to 2005.

They last played together in 2005 during Santos’ final year with FEU where they defeated De La Salle University Green Archers in two games in the UAAP Finals.
