Palakol ang grades? Ira Bataller won’t play for Letran anew in NCAA Season 98

Ira Bataller will still not make his Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights debut in the NCAA Season 98 men’s basketball, which will start next week.

According to a report by Tiebreaker Times, Bataller was again delisted from Letran’s final roster after failing to meet the academic requirement of the school.

Bataller was among the three former University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers who transferred to the Knights two years ago following the infamous Sorsogon Bubble.

Unlike during his time with UST, where he was playing lengthy minutes under then head coach Aldin Ayo, Bataller just cannot catch a break with Letran.

The 6-foot-4 Bataller played for the Knights during the 2022 Filoil Ecooil Preseason Cup and the 2022 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup.

In the PBA D-League, he averaged 3.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in six games played. Meanwhile, in the Preseason Cup, he normed 4.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in six games as well.
